3Best Times & Ways To Shop To Get The Most Bang For Your Buck
We all want our dollar to go further. I did some research mixed with a lot of experience in shopping for bargains, and I’ve found that these are some of the best times to shop for your favorite fashions.
1. At the End of a Season
Looking for a winter coat? Buy it in December. By that time there are only 2 -3 more months of “Ole Man Frost” and then spring is upon us. Buying at the end of a season is when you will get the best deals on prices because retailers are trying to clear out their stock for the next season. *Style Caution* If you implement this method into your buying habits make sure that what you want to buy has timeless qualities. For example, if neon pink corduroy paints are “super in” the of winter 2020 and you were not able to buy them when they were at their trendiest peak then you may want to accept that you missed that trend and not buy them at the end of that season thinking you will wear them during winter 2021 and be on trend. Some items are seasonally trendy. They are “in” for a very specific time and in order to ride that wave for that time you have to jump on right away! Other trends that have styles rooted in timeless shapes & cuts. Those are a safest bet and will give you the most versatility with in your wardrobe. Those most likely will endure several seasons of relevancy and that my friend is the instance where this rule applies.
2. End of a Holiday or Event
Christmas, Back to School, Easter, you name it! Gathering up goodies for the next go-round after these events is a gold mine! Doing this also sets you up for success next year and eliminates some stress that can come in the next holiday by being ahead of the game. Retailers anticipate massive turn-outs for holiday sales & promotions on their onset. This usually causes prices to be lower or reasonable due to demand. This also happens tremendously at the end of a holiday in order clear stock for the next. So clean up!
3. Shop on-line
When no brick and mortar is involved with on-line shopping, prices are much lower to the consumer. Even though shopping online eliminates that feeling of instant gratification that we get when making an in-store purchase, shopping online can slash what you pay by 50% when you include perks like Amazon Prime’s free shipping, no sales tax promotions and sales that just flat out beat store retailers. So now you know a few vital ways to shop smarter in order to save yourself some coins. Now go on…. make momma proud. Lol.
